La potenza creativa di Mozart è stata come minimo sbalorditiva. La sua figura rappresenta in assoluto uno dei mostri sacri della musica e accostarvisi, non soltanto per eseguire le sue opere, ma addirittura per reinterpretarle, potrebbe essere assai rischioso. Ma chi meglio di un “improvvisatore” potrebbe cimentarsi nell’impresa? In fondo Mozart con la sua facilità di scrittura e la straordinaria perizia strumentale non era forse un grande improvvisatore?
In Kreativ Mozart l’operazione di Marco Gotti (arrangiamenti originali) e della JW Orchestra è quella di smontare e rimontare alcune delle più celebri pagine del repertorio mozartiano utilizzando un impasto strumentale diverso da quello abituale, per cercare prima di carpire e poi liberare la grande potenza creativa di cui sono fortemente intrise.
Mozart’s creative power has been, at the very least, astounding. His figure represents for sure one of the sacred monsters of music: approaching it, not only to perform his works, but even to reinterpret them, could be very risky. Therefore, who better than an “improviser” could try to take the challenge? Because after all, with his ease of writing and extraordinary instrumental ability, Mozart was a great improviser.
In Kreativ Mozart the exercise made by Marco Gotti (original arrangements) and the JW Orchestra is to disassemble and reassemble some of the most famous pages of the Mozartian repertoire using instrumental mixes and music colors different from the usual ones, comprising and then enhancing the great creative power which strongly distinguishes the original material.
